What Reasons are there to keep Rick Spielman?

Every year we rave about his draft classes.
Three years later we look back at them and they are pure suck.

My big issue is his refusal to try and get a QB.

5 0r 6 drafted QBs, 1st round or 5th or later.

John David booty was the only one in the 5th, all the rest were much later.

But we draft, jeff Locke, a punter, Blair walsh and Daniel Carlson, and trade a 5th for Kaare Vedvick, draft long snappers.

As much draft resources into specialists as he does QBs.

There is no real reason to keep him.
Ignores the OL and refuses to draft any QB that could overtake the starter. And his obsession with trading down and having at least 10 picks is ridiculous

He could have just kept Linval and Everson but instead he spends more money and resources on Pierce and Yannick.

Ricks odds of hitting on great draft picks is just the middle of the road. Some bad luck at QB with knee injuries to Teddy and Sammy. Horrible decision to rid Case in favor of Kirk.

Zimmer doesn't sound like he wanted kirk.

He knew he wasnt the answer and didnt want to gut the roster to get him.

I think him and Bradford were good. He mentioned he wanted to see a bit more fire out of Sam after his first year here. And if I remember right after one of his TDs in week 1 against the Saints in 17 he almost knocked Zimmer over celebrating with him.
