You can't blame the defense. Yes, they started badly but they held up their side of the bargain after that. The offense is bad and it's on Kirk.

Competent QB play and refs calling an even game, are the Vikes up by 30?

The vikings had their chances. And as they clean up and get in a better rythm I like their chances this season.
GM Spielman:
  • Record 62-48-2 (.559 winning %)
  • Playoffs 1-3
  • 7 years - reached playoffs 3 times.
  • Winner of the North 2 of last 4 years
Zimmer is 48-33-1

Missed FG. Blocked XP.

Overthrows on offense.

They had plenty of chances to win this. The defense stepped up in the second half but the passing game didn't. Spielman should be fired after this game for his mismanagement of the QB position but that won't happen.

Yep. Like 90% of this loss is on Kirk.

Such a shame but when the defense gives up 21 points in the first quarter you are pretty much screwed. Refs helped the pack all day also. Why you throw on first and goal from the 8 after running down there throats is beyond me. Kirk needs a sports psychologist

Worse than this game, I think the season is over. They simply can't win with Kirk. There will eventually be big games on the way to the SB and he can't win them. He is not good enough.

4 points left on the field not counting the TD that was taken away and the INT in the endzone.

Man this game was here for the taking.

Cousins, never say shit to Thielan again. Shut your fucking mouth. Collect your checks. Get the fuck out of town.

It was full all offseason here.

I knew this would happen.

The guy is dumb, skiddish, and sucks.

Just because you pay a guy to be a good quarterback doesn’t mean they will turn into one.

Over 30, signed for a fully guaranteed contract for this season and the next. No one thought, hey, maybe if a team is letting a “franchise” quarterback walk for Alex Smith he might not be that good.

Spielman did though. He also took a center in round 1 that has two holding penalties this game.

Yep. Even I'm about to jump. Sure he will still have a good year and I'm not giving up, we have a good team. But this fawker needs to prove he isn't a choke at this point.

Kirk will take the blame in the press conference but I don't care. I don't need his apologies or taking responsibility. I need him to not do this. And he does this every big game.

So interesting to watch a quarterback worth his money. Knowing he will put this one away.

Then we have our guy making more money and looking like this.

I have no confidence in him especially when the Vikings are down. He has zero confidence and presses. Looks like he's trying to force things to happen and he ain't Brett Farve.

He's the wrong QB for this team. Not a gamer, not a winner, and not a guy who will bring you back. If things aren't 100% working around him he's a middle of the road QB at best.

Can you at least put the parking brake on before you jump? Who will take the wheel?

To be fair they balled out in the second half. The offense shit the bed multiple times.

3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning yet packers easily ice it. Zimmers D fails when it’s needed most.

So what is the solution at QB?

I've not bashed Cousins before, but this game did it for me. I'm done with him.
