Just make it like Prince eventually and use symbols.

Torn on retiring #84. He did come back here and it got all weird and imploded a season. He left on bad terms too.

#28 is the same way. I would just not assign certain numbers for a period of time. Like 10-15 years. Call that “retiring” the number. Maybe even as long as 25 years or something if they won us a Super Bowl!

I bet the Patriots give #12 to the next rookie.

Let's talk titles. Also best WR ever debatable on many levels. Best QB not debatable on any level.

You’d have to retire #12. But 25 years you would think would be enough. That is like a generation.

I can’t stand the Pats though because they are another symptom of what is rotten today. They cheat. They have been caught multiple times. Imagine how many times they haven’t been caught?

Some call it outsmarting the system. Like a rich guy not paying taxes is just “smart,” but those who play by the rules are dopes.

I think the Patriots are cheaters. They are the most pathetic franchise in the NFL.

“Titles”

Integrity means more than titles. Never felt like The Vikings have cheated. Never been accused.

Look at Lance Armstrong today. No balls and not titles anymore. Or maybe he got to keep a ball?

The Patriots are good at what they do. When all you care about is winning.... I’d believe they were the greatest of all time if they were not caught twice.

I will never, ever understand why so many dummies respond to moronic bits like this Decker idiot, DH, Oscar etc. It truly baffles me. Grown ass men who wake up each day with a goal of annoying other grown ass men (whom they don't know) on the God damn internets, but hey, let's take them seriously and engage them in arguments etc. The best part is some are actually then surprised when they don't come off their take - which, you know, being a bit and all, they aren't going to do. It's fascinating.

The Ring of Honor is clearly the item the Vikings use as a jersey retirement deal.
