Would you make all these excuses for Keenum? Bridgewater? Or any other quarterback?

I just do not understand how we can pay $84 million for a quarterback who goes 8-7-1, including 1-13 on third down with playoffs on the line at home against a division rival that rested its starters.

Yet the previous year we go 13-3 with Keenum and it was all Shurmur and luck.

I think you are focused on Cousins’ contract and equating that with giving him a ton of excuses and leeway. It isn’t objective. Had Keenum been successful in turning around things in Denver instead of only increasing their win total from the previous season by one you’d be singing a different tune. Remember though that things got better here and in Denver when Keenum was in, but they got worse here with Cousins.

I think your optimism and deflecting blame for Cousins is just a troll. Although some of you think my bitterness toward Cousins is a troll.

My hope in this team was lost in that Chicago game. Until I see them beat some good teams like they were doing a few years ago I am not gonna get my hopes up. The NFL isn’t gonna just hand us a Lombardi because they feel sorry for us sad masochistic bastards who hope for this team every year.

The Bills game was totally on the coaching staff. The Bills had a rookie quarterback making his first start on the road. The Vikings coaches thought the Bills woudl do exactly what they would do: run a max conservative offense without taking a single risk. So, they showed up flat and unprepared. A good team can often survive one or the other when they are playing a bad team like the Bills, they can't survive both though.
