Probably because we went three and out too often and so our time of possession was in the negative. Then teams ran a ton on us because we were playing from behind.

Rodgers got his coach fired and the team is now tainted. Just like the last few years of AP. Packers are gonna be a mess for a long time. And most of us will love every minute. Especially when you trade Rodgers away from the Vikings. Rodgers hasn’t won a Super Bowl since Obama was in his second year as President and the economy was in recession. Same year as Obamacare, old people finding Facebook, and Kanye being being a Democrat.

A vikling fan trying to shame a Packer fan on how long it's been since our current QB has won a Super Bowl.

Does it get any richer than that?

But we still won’t root for a team called The Packers or live in such a crappy state. Minnesota may not have a Super Bowl ring, but we win in any measurable category of standard of living.

Unlike Packers’ stock, MN companies actually pay dividends.

The fanciest restaurant in Green Bay is Applebee's. Do you wear a XXL Wal Mart polo there or Carharts for a "nice night out"?

I got laughed at for saying in the off-season that our D-line could potentially be worse than our O-line.

I think our D-line is a massive weakness on our defense. Joseph is no longer a stud. We are weak up the gut, very weak.
I haven't seen any signs of it getting better either. Teams will run on us this year easily.

I did like the Armon Watts selection because what he put on tape was pretty great. He just didn't play much.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Why does being a Vikings fan matter when talking facts about the Packers and Rodgers?

The Packers defensive line is rated 11th?

I guess Clay Mathews rushing 10 yards behind the QB is a win.

In the 2 games the Vikings and Packners played against each other last year, the Packners only mustered up 4 sacks.

The Vikings doubled that.

Seriously, Clark, I say this as a friend. Your intermittent, uncommitted and just entirely weak efforts are damaging your brand and reputation. An occasional 1-2 sentence feeble pot stirring attempt? Really?

We deserve better, Clark. The clear cut, all time best pot stirring bit of all time - the most clever, the funniest and the hardest working bit of all time, and now you barely make an appearance and when you do, you barely even break a sweat in your efforts. Embarrassing, really.

I think you either need to get back to work and rediscover the legend that is Clark, or retire the bits altogether. We deserve better.

LOL I love Packer fans trying troll the Vikings. These stats aren't about overall Defense. They are specifically about PASS BLOCKING and PASS RUSHING.

The vikings sucked at pass blocking last year we all know that.

The Vikings Pass Rush has never been as feared although I wouldnt' call them bad but maybe average. Zim focuses on pass defense not pass rush so to me this stat seems to make sense.

Zim is pretty picky about bringing extra pass rushers.

A packer fan cherry picking. Nicely done.

  • 7 years - reached playoffs 3 times.

I never at any time said or inferred anything about overall defense?

Anybody who can read can see it's about pass blocking and pass rushing specific to the olines and dlines.

I'm not sure why you're so confused as to try to clarify this for anyone, but yourself?

The point still stands that your dline sucks major ass at pass rushing, just like your oline sucks at pass blocking!!

Until your D-line has more sacks than the Vikes and your O-line can give his highness enough time to find mediocre receivers I'd say good luck.

Vikings D overall #5. Not bad really.

DSR represents Drive Success Rate, as introduced in Pro Football Prospectus 2005, which measures the percentage of down series that result in a first down or touchdown. Take-a-knee drives at the end of a half are discarded.

Last season, the Vikings couldn’t beat anyone good. They were 0-6 against top-10 NFL teams, according to the ratings of USA Today’s Jeff Sagarin, and 8-1-1 against everyone else. Only the Buffalo Bills (0-6) and Arizona Cardinals (0-7) were as bad against top-10 teams.

Cousins vs. best teams: 169-of-247, 1,584 yards, 10 TD, 5 INT, 6.4 yards per attempt, 90.9 passer rating

Cousins vs. everyone else: 256-of-359, 2,714 yards, 20 TD, 5 INT, 7.6 YPA, 105.8 rating

Vikings defense, 6 games vs. best teams: 368.5 yards per game, 27 points per game

Vikings defense, 10 games vs. everyone else: 274.4 YPG, 17.9 PPG

This sums up the Spielman/Zimmer era. It’s time to move on. They beat the bad teams and lose to the good ones.

One of the more realistic preseason reviews.

Again, your homeristic brain is totally on tilt and confused.

This thread is about oline and dline.

You're welcome to start a thread on overall defensive stats being that you have nothing to say about the lines.

I'm sorry you can't accept any truth that might be negative about your defense. Stiff upper lip me boi! You'll live through this!
