Umm. No. Keenum will probably be riding the pine by then.

Better chance Redskin fans boo Keenum off their field. You read their forums after getting him?!?

Uffda... People were pissed. It does make no sense. That team sucks. Why not suck (They will anyway) and get a good draft pick to get a young QB.

That move would make sense if you are a contender and are looking for someone to get you through for a bit. Not a bad team.

Nice job Washington. Since getting rid of Cousins you have now twonstraight year's made a trade for Alex Smith and Case Keenum.

If Keenum plays, he should absolutely get a round of applause from the purple faithful.

Cousins, well, it’s a week 8 game right? How he’s treated will be a result of how he’s played and will have nothing to do with Keenum.

Cousins won't get booed.

Keenum will get a few cheers
GM Spielman:
  • Record 62-48-2 (.559 winning %)
  • Playoffs 1-3
  • 7 years - reached playoffs 3 times.
  • Winner of the North 2 of last 4 years
Zimmer is 48-33-1

Yeah, good point about Washington.

NFL teams who don’t have a QB and who aren’t going to be good that season are missing an opportunity by not tanking.

Logistically, it’s hard to pull off, but the payoff is so obvious and having a franchise QB is so vital, that it’s foolish to not consider.

We will see where both teams are at in week 8. If Keenum is being cheered and Cousins gets booed there will be much bigger problems ahead.

If I was coach and Cousins struggled he would end up "injured" like Bradford or TJack's "injuries."

If I was coach or GM I would have a back up plan at the quarterback position for this season. Someone who I felt could come in and lead as Keenum did when Bradford went down.

Spielman won't do that though. He likes to double-down on his stupidity.

The whisper into Freeman's ear. Drafting Ponder. Trading a first for Bradford.

If people are cheering Keenum it will be a direct shot across the bow at the franchise and those at the top.

It might shock some people, but I think this team might be good this season. As lone as we get a very good running game.... My hope is that Kubiak can make this thing improve.

There's a 100% chance that at least a few dipshits still think we should have kept Keenum.
