That seems like a very reasonable deal for Ingram.

For a soon to be 30 year old safety :o . It seems he's been around longer than he has though.

In my opinion, this is a pretty good year to not have cap space with all of these god awful contracts.

Right now we are also + 3rd/4th round in comp pick with the loss of Richardson. Murray and Stephens cancel each other out.

Jordy Nelson interest anyone with the recent additions for the Raiders? Seemed like he finished the season on a high note. Michael Crabtree is available.

I could see Rodgers trying to get him back in GB. They could get him for nothing, the fans would love it and I could see him having a rejuvenated year.

GBs WRs are pretty shit after Adams.

I'm making him play this year out on his deal and seeing where we are at by year's end.

If it's another failed year, I'm getting rid of him. Not going to pay a 30 year old WR that kind of money when we will probably be looking at a bunch of changes.
I think Theilen would be foolish not to holdout for a minimum of what Diggs is getting at $14 million. How many WRs have had 2,650+ yards the last 2 seasons?

Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Adam Theilen

Adam Humphries and Jamison Crowder just got $9 million a year and Theilen is under $5 million.
The Vikings can't do that. That would be 30 million in two WRs.

I don't believe he's looked at around the league like those other guy's but I could be wrong. I think a year out of football at the age he is would be a killer.

Diggs is so much younger so he's a no brainer and they just gave him a long deal.

If Thielen really wants that much, he's the guy I would look to trade. It would suck to lose him this year but I think you could get great value for him.

1st rounder imo.

I know this won't happen though.
Here are the WR salaries https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/av ... -receiver/

Theilen is 47th.

Tyrell Williams just got $11 million.

I'm telling you. Theilen is going to hold out for at least $10 million. Diggs is the 10th highest paid WR in the NFL and I don't think he's ever put up a top 10 season.

So what's left for the Vikings at this point? A couple of names:

Darius Philon - DT - I don't know much about this guy, but he was supposed to get paid and is still out there. Did his agent overplay his hand? Does he fit the need at 3T?

TJ Yeldon - RB - If the Vikings are going to sign a free agent RB, this guy seems like a good candidate. He's not as good as Cook, but has a similar skill set. The type of guy you could plug in when Cook gets hurt (which will happen) and not have to change the offensive scheme.

Agreed.

If he can be had for just a couple mil, I’d be all over that.

He’s talented, just has always played for bad teams and/or in a time share.

As long as he comes relatively cheap, he'd be a good replacement for Murray.

Updated top 25 free agents left: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/p ... ts-in-2019

I wonder if the Waynes talks increase once Darby signs.

3 OG on the list. I wonder if we are waiting on Griffen to make a move on any of those 3?

I would want it to be a 1-2 year deal for those guys.

Cross Tate off.

Tates agent said he will choose between the Steelers or the Patriots.

Only way I see the vikings getting aggressive is if they cut Griffen and trade Waynes. That opens up like 15-18 million I believe.

Suh isnt happening.

I assume with that money you could easily get Sitton or Lang, Crowell or Yeldon and Cobb.

I don't think Waynes is traded and I think EG is back.

I would like those guys back and a backuo RB signed.

Go to the draft for the rest.

I am very against a Waynes trade. I am fine with moving on from Griffen. Weatherly was fine and I think we can ramp other guys up.

I would like them to find a true slot receiever. If they can find one for cheap thats fine or draft someone. Or, use Adam in the slot and find a WR who can stretch the field.

Cook is an unknown. I would like a workhorse style RB behind him and dont trust Thomas or Boone. Not sure i would trust a rookie either.

All in all, I agree with most of what you said.
