Lol, like four players in that draft would have to get arrested or lose a leg for it to be even remotely possible.Keith_Morrison wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:02 pmYour score is: 29160 (GRADE: B+)

These boys need to update there system, is there a more realistic simulation out there? I had no idea who I was drafting after Ben Powers, I still don't know anything about LB's, RB's, CB's and most S.

Re: first-pick.com - NFL Draft Game 2019
1. The trade model in first pick does not work. You have to select the worst trade option offered to even become reasonable. In this case, the simulator offered a 2nd, and 3rd to move down 5 picks in the first. In 2018 real NFL draft, moving from 18 with a 7th round pick to 27 got a 3rd and a 6th.-VikingsTw- wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 12:09 pm These boys need to update there system, is there a more realistic simulation out there? 2. THey do need to work on their rankings but they generally update them from time to time. In the first versions of the simulation I was drafting Andre Dillard in the late 6th round.

Re: first-pick.com - NFL Draft Game 2019
So your saying if we trade from 18 to 27 all they would net is basically a 3rd round pick.
I was thinking this could be a real draft strategy for the Vikings but I might reconsider.

The last time I played first pick I made a major move back, moving to pick 14 in the 2nd round and netted 2 3rd round picks. That made an interesting draft.

Re: first-pick.com - NFL Draft Game 2019
I thought this was an interesting first pick scenario. Got the last of Taylor, ,Ford, Dillard in Jonah WIlliams. Made JJ's day by taking Chris Lindstrom in the 2nd after trading down 2 spots, giving two solid chances at starting oLine from this draft. Traded down to end of 3rd and took a guy I think can be a decent slot receiver in the NFL in Andy Isabella. Took mobile LB Terrill Hanks in round 4, moved down in Rick style gathering picks. Rypien is a depth QB, took problem child Rodney Anderson to be the big back replacement to Murray. I like Dontavious Russell in middle of dLine.
While two CBs seems rich, you can never have enough depth and Johnson might project more as a safety. Roemer is a long athletic tackle and Banogu is an athletic edge to compete with our other down depth edge players.
All of my trades were very reasonable (I traded down 2 spots in 2nd for a 7th round, down 12 spots in 3rd for a 5th round pick, traded that pick for 2 6th rounds) and got an A- score as a grade, usually something reserved for making the unrealistic trades over and over again.
Round 1 Pick 18: Williams, Jonah, OT, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 20 (PITT): Lindstrom, Chris, OG, Boston College (B+)
Round 3 Pick 30 (LAR): Isabella, Andy, WR, Massachusetts (A+)
Round 4 Pick 18: Hanks, Terrill, OLB, New Mexico State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 3 (S.F.): Rypien, Brett, QB, Boise State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 17: Anderson, Rodney, RB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 6 Pick 36 (COMP): Russell, Dontavius, DT, Auburn (A+)
Round 6 Pick 39 (S.F.): Johnson, Isaiah, CB, Houston (A+)
Round 7 Pick 5 (PITT): Robinson, Rashad, CB, James Madison (A+)
Round 7 Pick 33 (COMP): Roemer, Tyler, OT, San Diego State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 36 (COMP): Banogu, Ben, DE, Texas Christian (A+)

The game is fun, but totally ridiculous.
As recently as this past week I could get Hockenson in the third round. So yeah. Enjoy, but don’t put too much stock in it.

They must of updated rankings because now Hockenson is a first round draw.
