chalk covers the spread and the teams with the most potent offenses prevailed. also the teams that had the most physicality to their games. i was really surprised by the whooping the rams offensive line and other blockers on dallas. just manhandled the cowpokes. chiefs with a home game to get to the SB. certainly a good time to be a KC fan.

if it's chalk again today i'll be surprised again. but that very well could be the case.

they looked like the vikings in tough games out there...2 yard passes that either were completed for ...2 yards, or missed the mark. some runs into a pile. lots of 3rd and longs.

yep. for this year for sure. how important is a physical offensive line though? great QB's will look mediocre-very ordinary without protection. maybe the vikings will get this figured out. sooner as opposed to later.

I wouldn't say a total flip, the teams last year all had more balance on defense and offense, 2 of the top 3 offenses were in the super bowl:

New England had the 2nd best offense
Philly has the 3rd best offense
New Orleans had the 4th best offense who would have been on this list if not for a real miracle
Jacksonville had the 5th best offense
Minnesota had the 10th best offense
