Yeah...sad because he was looking like a high floor guy. Hopefully this isn't a lingering thing through his career like some other seemingly benign injuries along our oline.

if the 7th round compensation is true, it’s a steal. He is not great but he is a vast improvement over what we are throwing out now. If Elf comes back, jones can move to guard too.

It seems to be that he would have been a cap casualty anyway and the Vikings gave up a seventh. For first dibs.

He also apparently has a 67 rating in madden, which is one half notch below pff in terms of credibility!

He was a starter last year, which should hopefully mean he is at least competent and certainly means a hell of lot more than the pretend rankings of "pro football we rank sendejo 4th best vike last year focus".

I like it. I don't know the guy, but giants fans and reporters seem irritated, so we got that going for us. Edison was not going to work with the schedule we have out of the gate. This gives us an experienced, probably league average center who most importantly can help keep Kirk upright. In our position that's a big step up. That he can fill in anywhere inside after Elflein comes back is also big since our guard situation isn't anywhere near settled. All for a seventh rounder.

Not even depth. He can start on this O-line. If they had given up anything of value, I might have been upset. But a 7th? They got a steal.

By itself, this is a great trade given the state of the OL.

However, if it means Elflein is going to miss time, I’m even more concerned overall.
