Looks like it's Keenum until Teddy comes back now.

This game will certainly not make the high light reel for awesome games played by this organization.

Case is a stone cold assassin.
All he does is win. He is taking his spot as the best QB on the roster.

ESPN showed Slick Rick on the phone sometime around the beginning of the 4th quarter. Rumor has it, he was calling Tanya Harding. He was mentioning something about, "Taking care of a, soon to be, upcoming problem, before it rears it's ugly head!"Wall of Sound wrote: βMon Oct 09, 2017 10:42 pmdo you think speilman can park his ego enough to allow that?

Re: ***Official Vikings @ Bears Gamethread!!!***
My notes from the game.
1. I thought both Vikings running backs played really well and ran very hard.
2. What were they thinking putting Sam out there in the first place? I get he was "rusty" but he was so obviously injured it wasn't even funny.
3. The defense is going to give this season away because of really stupid penalties.
4. Speaking of stupid penalties, what the fuck is Trae Waynes fucking doing fucking holding a receiver when he is in perfect fucking fucking fucking position on the receiver on 3rd down? WHo teaches these fucking defensive backs to constantly fucking hold? It is constant. Trae Waynes could really turn into a good CB if he learns to trust his coverage instead of grabbing. Mackenzie Alexander too.
5. I think all the Viking receivers should wear those yellow gloves. They have to really give the QB a better target to throw to.
6. I am a Sam Bradford the quarterback fan. He has exceptional accuracy on just about every throw. Give him enough time and he is a guy that couold make the performance of the New Orleans game a regular event. I have never seen a QB that had as good of ability to throw his receivers open in a Viking uniform. But I think he is done. That knee is just not good enough to give him a quarterback extension of the level he would want. Maybe he is forced to take a huge discount, and I still am not certain I would sign him. If it is under $10 million a year with less than $15 million guaranteed, you have to take a look at it. Unfortunately I think the same about Teddy, and the Vikings need to get ready for Case Keenum as starting for the balance of this season and next.
7. I get tired of the Anthony Barr criticism. People who do this really do not understand his role on the defense in containing the POA.
8. I would not be surprised if game film revealed that Xavier Rhodes was sleeping through most of the game today. Good god, have you ever seen a team afraid to throw at a CB like Chicago was today?
9. Marcus Sherels is an underrated player. He gets every yard on punt returns, makes good plays in special teams coverage, and is an adequate emergency CB that would get on the field as the nickel CB in some defenses. He really had some nice returns today and made a huge hit on the Bear punt returner.
10. The Vikings still need more talent on the offensive line and that needs to be a priority.
11. I think Andrew Sendejo still ahs a future in the NFL, plays hard, is a decent tackler, and actually improved in coverage. But I still do not understand why the team has not attempted to upgrade him in the past several years. Or why they don't take him off the field in passing situations, replacing him with Terrence Newman as the deep safety.
12. The Vikings play calling is so ultra conservative it really hurts this team. Case in point: 4th quarter. VIkings get the ball on own 15 with 7:20 to go. We move the ball to the Chicago 46, mostly by throwing on first down. Then run. Then run. 3rd and 8, incomplete. WHenever something goes wrong they just give up. Compare that to the Chicago game planning. Even in long distance situations with a rookie QB agaisnt what is considered a good defense they never gave up trying to move the ball downfield. They moved their QB around to avoid the rush. I am not going to say they were really successful, but until the Harrison SMith INT, they hadn't turned the ball over and some of their lack of offensive production was masked by VIking defensive penalties which gave them first downs and a coupleof runs by Mitch that gained some yardage.
